Run for Tali
Amir (Tali's Brother) recently participated in a
school event held in memory of Tal. The event, Run for Tali, raised
money for POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario). Amir was
excited about taking an active role in the event. He wore a T-shirt
with Tal's picture on it, started out the run together with the
Mascot, and made a special poster with photos and a letter that he
wrote about Tali.

The money raised will go specifically to helping two programs-the
POGO Research Unit and the Pediatric Oncology Financial Assistance
Program.
The POGO Research Unit researches the causes of cancer in children,
ways to prevent cancer in children, and helps to find medicine that
does not make children sick during cancer treatment. The Pediatric
Oncology Financial Assistance Program provides money for parents who
have to leave their jobs to help take care of their sick children,
and need some extra money to get them through a hard time.
We successfully raised over $22,000. We thank everyone for their support.
